Brooklyn, NYC – The Other Art Fair, presented by Saatchi Art, announces its 17th Brooklyn edition this spring, showcasing 115 independent artists at the historic Agger Fish Building, returning to a fan-favorite Brooklyn venue. Championing direct connections between artists and collectors, the fair offers an accessible and immersive alternative to the traditional gallery experience.
This spring, The Other Art Fair Brooklyn hits "rewind." The Nostalgia Core theme brings a curated selection of interactive, artist-led projects that celebrate the best of the past — from the tactile hum of retro tech to the kitschy charm of childhood memories. Visitors are invited to touch, play, and rediscover the analog hobbies and vintage designs that shaped us. It's not just an art fair; it's a trip down memory lane you can actually participate in.
Opening Night (April 16): Exclusive preview event featuring DJ programming and artist activations. Friday Late with WNYC (April 17): Special evening with DJ Caryn from New Sounds (WNYC partner). Weekend community events: Interactive experiences, artist demonstrations, and intriguing encounters throughout Saturday and Sunday.
New Futures Winner: Soomin Oeffinger. Soomin Oeffinger, working under the name This This That Studio, creates handmade stained glass pieces in Brooklyn, NY. The New Futures selection committee includes India Baleyjusa (Saatchi Art Curator), Claire Kim (Curator & Writer), and Victoria Fry (Gallerist & Artist).
